I'm not a fan of the fact that your two examples are his weaker films, but maybe I'm just being nitpicky.

Those are the first two that come to mind for me. What are your favorites?

Oldboy as one of his weaker films? You'd definitely be in the minority on that one. I like Lady Vengeance better, but Oldboy would definitely be my second favorite. Thirst is probably considered one of his weakest, but it's an excellent film in it's own right.

Lady Vengeance, which I'm coincidentally watching right now, and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance are better. Oldboy is my least favorite of his films that I've seen. Other than a terrific performance by Min-sik Choi, the film itself is nothing spectacular.

I just saw this last night. I really enjoyed it. He really has skills as a director and he obviously knows it.
