Don't forget that the bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island was just two years ago. Incidents pop up from time to time, and it wouldn't take much more than what happened in 2010 for a major conflict to re-escalate.

Border skirmishes have happened daily.
AP/Reuters is picky about what they report from that region.
But they had nukes, and didn't use them against their most hated enemy. Meaning they at least have the sense God gave a walnut.
North Korea is the college whore. They have been out of the spotlight for a moment, so they have to yell some extreme bull shite to get attention.
Like Ally Sheedy in Breakfast Club.
