so, not taking into account the logos that have been floating around, do you like the name?
yes or no will suffice, but i'm sure this will turn into a shite show.
after the unveiling on Thursday when the board has calmed down, i will do another poll to see what y'all think about the name once the logo is revealed.
i'll be interested to see if anyone's mind is changed.
for me, i don't like the name.
but i will say that i'm thinking the logo will change my mind.

I'm accepting it with open arms but not having too much faith in how the logo will turn out.
It is what it is at this point. We'll all get used to it after we win the ship

I kind of dig Driveman's logo though, if its legit.

I've come to like it more than Brass, which is what I was pulling for previously. I'm still on team Rougarou, though.

Yes.
I was heading into New Orleans the other week on the Spillway and a pelican flew alongside my car and it finally sunk in that that was going to be my team's mascot and it kind of won me over. It's pretty cool that we can see our mascot in the area we live in. I know some people are opposed to it because its kind of kitschy, but at least it has a purpose in representing something that's part of Louisiana...

Yes. I have liked it since the first Pelicans thread when the youtube was posted :hihi:
I think it's old school without being cliche, has hidden meaning for locals, and represents the state well.

Ive been saying Pels in my head for months and really like that. I will call them the Pels just like Pittsburgh fans call their hockey team the Pens.
