Just read about it, 9 months. However, after kicking him kung-fu style he then punched him several times so not really even close to the same as what happened today. I'd guess somewhere between 6-8 games for Hazard depending on how convincing he can be that he was trying to kick the ball.

Well after that statement I'm convinced. Clearly innocent and harmless red card should be rescinded immediately.

Even if he had of only kicked the ball it was still not something he should be doing. He's just apologizing to his teammates putting himself into a position to get sent off and to appease the FA and all the people who will get up in arms over it.

Clearly he kicked the kid and it was his intention. Look at the gif again. He reaches OVER the kid to get the ball (so we know its on the opposite side of the kid from where he kicks him), pulls back, and then whacks him in the ribs. I hope he gets 10 games and I hope the ball boy loses his job.

Come on now, i'm sure there are plenty of teenage chelsea fans in london right now that would have loved to do the same thing.
Also regardless of whether it was kim jong un or a nickelback band member on top of the ball Hazard is still at fault here. He cannot in any way get physical with a ballboy.

It's amazing to me how people can see two totally different things from the exact same GIF. I'm not even going to say who i think is correct. Also, I'm sure i do the same thing as well.
