So if the riders can afford a smart phone , why could they not afford a higher fare to keep from raising taxes
Also director of CATS to be on GMA tomorrow to pimp how technological his system is.....I guess so when you have a blank check

Saw a CATS bus today. Maybe had 3 people on it unless it was full of toddlers and midgets.

This and mine went up $1600/year. I think I might download the app and ride around town a bit. Heck, I might bring an ice chest, no Yeti cooler, since I might take a long ride.

But they complain it takes 2 hours to get to woman's hospital, next they will complain that they have to wait too long in the waiting room to see a dr., yet if they are on the gov dime they should have plenty of time as obviously they are not working...phuck the entitlement crowd

Does anyone know the status on the lawsuit that was filed?
I called the Clerks Office and they stated if the lawsuit is successful there will be a refund.
I just love how they did the vote by city not parish. So Zachary and others outside the city voted against it, yet CATS still runs out to these places.

And that gerrymandering is the reason the CATS route doesn't run to the new Woman's Hospital, and why that fat arse councilwoman hiked down Airline Highway last week.
These democrat moochers screw the system to get tax dollars, but when their shady deals backfire, they demand that taxpayers and businesses pay again to correct it.

There was public transportation before ... CATS. The problem is no one rides on the buses.
Property taxes went up so much because they only taxed those in the city - not the parish. And because the tax was outrageous.
