You seem to have a hard on for Naevea who redeemed herself in some viewers eyes last nite. Most chicks go pyscho, look at what Crassus slave did to Tiberius as he was being given to Caesar. She deserved to cut up that lil brat for killing her man Crixus. Great show, will be sory to see it come to an end.

She reminds me of Madame DeFarge. Totally. I never liked Madame DeFarge.

Gannicus' fight that you were referencing was awesome. Really set the tone for his character. When he got cut by that guy and beat the shite out of him with his fists I couldn't help but think of White Goodman's famous "No one makes me bleed my own blood line."

IF you read TOTC, you will see the similarities. Stick her in Revolutionary France, and Naevia would be no different from Defarge.

didn't Caesar tell Crassus "the escaped slave girl killed Tiberius" or something like that?

or did I completely hear that wrong?

He said some random slave killed Tiberius on their way out and he only sought to balm it with Kore who Crassus adores. He's saying that he saw Kore and grabbed her.

So I don't see how Crassus figures it out unless he hears a different story from Spartacus.

Unrelated, I think I saw in the previews that Spartacus was talking to 1 on 1 to what looked like Roman. Maybe Crassus? Who knows if they're going to meet before battle.

1. Caesar. Figured out the plot and grinned, only to sent Tiberius along the way, hoping for his death. Boy wonder was too stupid to figure it out. Loved that scene when I watched it for the second time last night. Was too funny.

It was a great ploy. He saw an opportunity and capitalized on it like a mofo.

2. Naevia. Kill her, please.

I thought she was alright last night but I wouldn't be too upset if she went to the afterlife.

3. Will Crassus figure out who murdered his son?

Only way is to get the story from Spartacus.

quote:

Will Crassus ever find out what a scumbag his son really was?

Only Kore can do that.

quote:

4. Crucifixion. Its coming. This is like the Titanic. You know how it ends. You know what will happen.

We already saw it with Agron. If there's any, it won't be much IMO.

5. Pompey is on the way, Crassus better hurry up. Pompey, the expert at mopping up after Metellus, Lucullus, Sulla, and then Crassus.

Like another poster said, maybe pompey will do something, a complete frick up or miscalculation that would allow Spartacus and a ton of or small clutch of rebels to escape.

6. The games. Awesome scene. Reminded you of the first season and how riveting the games could be. Scene with Spartacus fighting bare handed was cool BUT Gannicus did that in GOTA in the first episode. Was pretty bad arse when he did it as well.

I can't wait to rewatch this entire series in order starting with GOTA

7. Show is getting better and better. PLEASE release the deleted scenes on Dvd or give us extended versions on DVD like the Godfather or AN did.

:KIGE:

I'm hoping the finale is going to be one of the most epic finales we'll ever see on TV. I read somewhere that the producers of this show sayt this show is going to have a very satisfying finale and people would be very fine with it. That leads me to think that Spartacus is going to live since we're emotionally attached to him as the protagonist on this show. I think Spartacus rides off into the sunset with Laeta. The writers wouldn't have the scenes, dialogue and body language they did last night only to have Spartacus die in battle next week.

May have been better off being killed by slavegirl Kore because Caesar told him right before he was stabbed that "I will show you how I tower over you on the way back" meaning he had some shite in store for him. Btw, I think Gaius is a title or something, the idiot Glaber had the same title attached to his name.

Common name back then. Gaius was like John or Mike.

The Caesars traced their lineage back to Aphrodite. One reason why Sulla and Marius married the sisters was to get the names. Yes, how would you like having THOSE two men for uncles? Yikes. No wonder Caesar was a military genius. Crassus was not a name that meant nothing as Crassus's family was of consular rank, but the Caesars had a privileged name even if they were not considered rich.

The definitely did the fights to bring back memories of how the show started before the finale.

I finally got to watch the last episode and wow, it was great! One of the best of the series in my opinion. I can just feel it, spartacus and his new bride off to the sunset. When he called out Sura at the funeral pyre he made peace with her death, now he's got himself a roman hottie to spread his seed in.

As I said before, I hope there is a Caesar spinoff and right before the stabbing on the ides of march, bam spartacus shows his face, and before Caesar says WTF, betrayal!
