As I said before, I hope there is a Caesar spinoff and right before the stabbing on the ides of march, bam spartacus shows his face, and before Caesar says WTF, betrayal!
He would have to do a hell of a job of slipping in and out of Rome and keep to himself.
I think this will happen. A Caesar spinoff would only be like 8 or 6 episodes like GOTA was.

ides of march
I can see it now.
I open up my DVR scheduled recording and it's scheduled to record the series or season finale of Caeasar called, "Ides of March".

is this season over. I want to know because I am going to dload and watch it all now. I have been waiting for this season to be done so I can watch them all straight through.
Series Finale is this Friday so I would get started with the first five episodes tomorrow and then the next four on Thursday and then watch the finale on Friday night.
Enjoy.

Series Finale is this Friday
It's here!!!
But I has a sad that's over after this one.
Will Spartacus live and ride off into the sunset with Laeta or will they all die? Unless there's a Caesar spinoff....
Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch it in real time with you fellas. I have to go to a wedding tonight so I'll have to watch it later tonight on my trusty DVR. I'll join y'all later tonight.
Enjoy it fellas.

I enjoyed the series all in all but the historical absurdities of this last season pretty much ruined it for me. Marcus Crassus as a master swordsman who sparred with gladiators? Gaius Julius Caesar as some kind of scruffy surfer boy wild man? The T&A and gory combat scenes kept it entertaining but the writing was laughable. Its more in line with Xena: Warrior Princess than HBO's Rome.
A Caesar spinoff from this team and with this actor would be an abomination.

Man I got my hopes up when Agron rode up on the horse that Spartacus was going to live. Awesome episode. Hate to see it end

Yeah but what an end. I think that finale elevated the entire series And frick a spinoff. I don't want to watch Caesar, Crassus, and that douche Pompi play political chess with the senate

Great series but yes Caesar is a bitch for the way he acted. I'm now glad Tiberius pushed in his shite!
quote:If they had did the show as close to realism as you want, they would have had no viewers and the show would have been cancelled long ago. This is the entertainment business, man. Everyone knows the story of the real Spartacus, but when telling a tale which is what most of these shows are like the Rome show you mentioned, and which I also enjoyed. You wanna semi tell the story, but in a fascinating, unique way that most of us wish had really happened. I think they accomplished that with flying colors.
I enjoyed it all in all but the historical absurdities of this last season all but ruined it for me.
