I've heard a lot of people saying that the screen pass that beat us was a result of a busted assignment by someone on our defense. I haven't looked at the film. Anybody know who it was?

I know Minter and Loston both missed tackles that would have prevented the score.

I haven't seen the replay, but I know that it was a miscommunication on the call. Whoever blitzed on that side was supposed to drop off a cover the RB.

I noticed that part but I couldn't make out who actually had yeldon. TM7 made it sound like it was one of our corners so it probably was mills

Yeldon has great feet, obvious speed and distance on his years. one on one, open field....he's going house 75% of the time.

Probably right but at least it would have ended the Bama reign.

No telling

I would think this team would have responded differently had they won the Bama game

That had to be psychologically devastating

That was for the west and a shot at another NC

Mills. When he sees the rb going out for a pass , instead of blocking, he has to cut off his blitz. Common mistake by freshmen.

You must have been in a coma in 2011.

Beating Bama in November is worthless.

This is just dumb. I'm not saying we would have beat them but damn, UGA isn't the 49ers. Thats why the game is played

If we were a blown assignment away from beating bama, like this tread suggests, then why couldn't we beat a UGA team that played said bama team to the wire.

Seriously? You mean to tell me that we couldnt muster double digit fricking first downs against UF but we would have beaten UGA? To say that it's dumb that I believe we wouldnt have beaten UGA is down right moronic. We were a TOTALLY different team on the road, and the Ga Dome aint in Louisiana.

WTF, you have a crystal ball over there? The teams mindset would have been off the charts if they beat Gumps! That's why they play these games for 60 min. between those little white lines! Geez!!
