Mannings IMO. Peyton has 1 SB ring and Eli has 2. Archie was really good and would have been better if he played on a better team when he was playing.

More Impressive: Harbaughs or Mannings

Cooper would have been the best tight end in the NFL ever.

Jim took over a sub .500 team, and with one draft had them playing in the NFC championship game

with 2, has them at 4.5 point favorites in the super bowl

he's really young too

The Harbaughs have never won anything. Never won anything as players, assistant coaches,or head coaches.

Players to me are always more impressive than coaches. Doing something is greater than teaching it. Those who can't do teach. Harbaugh was a ok player but nothing special.

Statically, it has to be the Mannings. They have three Super Bowl rings and four Super Bowl appearances combined. The Harbaughs will have one Super Bowl ring and two Super Bowl appearances after this game. They'll need to win two more rings before the Mannings win another one to catch up to the Mannings.

Is this really a debate? Players vs coaches? I know Jim Harbaugh played some, but I don't recall he was ever a star..

I think the Mannings win this argument today....

How else can you compare the two? One pair of brothers play the game, the other pair coaches the game. The only way you can make a comparison to the two is by wins and losses.
