Actually tried this once while drinking a sour brown (Aardmonnik - Earthmonk). The flavor profiles weren't far off. lol

That actually sounds appealing to me.

I made some balsamic vinaigrette using honey and Dijon mustard the other night. It was quite tasty.

SO made a balsamic reduction for a salad and we drank a duchesse. Great combination.

Homebrewing: No new brewing news this month, but I purchased a new brew kettle and a ton of hops last week. I'm hoping to fire up the new kettle next weekend and get a couple test batches in before Zapps.

Where you going to be serving that?

I'll be serving at Zapps with Redstick Brewmasters.

The test batches I'll serve to anyone who's thirsty and has a glass/growler.

It's pretty awesome when you have put a lot of effort into a beer and it comes out great

you better tell your girl to shut up and get yourself a kegerator. or do you want me to tell her that?

with these 5 batches i have i dont have enough bottles. i have 2 kegs but idk which i should put in the kegs. i really like bottles where i can just open up 1 or 2 or bring a 6er to someone house.

no this is a self imposed ban. 1) it's expensive to buy all that shite. 2) i'm too busy reading on formulating recipes. Don't want to worry about keggin. 3) Bottling takes maybe an hour, so it doesn't bother me. And, it's easier to bring bottles to people.
