This was found in an area that does flood heavily. It did have a weight tied to and do not know any other details about it. From looking at the sock it didn't seem to be that old but looking at the leg it appeared to be very old. I am wondering if someone found the leg and placed the sock on it. This item was found exactly as it is in the picture. Somebody had to place it against the tree but WTF???
