damned heavy rains last week and before really screwed this up for me. i did, however, get to make a couple hunts at Sabine this week
here's a couple pics
the pintail was my first, he's going on the wall
the widgeon in the pic closest to the pintail is also going up on the wall

Nice hunt.
I didn't go this weekend for two reasons.
1. Weather sucks
2. There's been pretty much zero birds the last few weeks.
My last hunt of the season I got skunked. Fitting end to a really shitty season. I'll at least post the haul from the best hunt this year.
This was right before the closing of 1st split, and it wasn't in my usual hunting area. Usually hunt Pearl River, this was in Marksville.
We went again the next day and got skunked.

Went yesterday and never fired a shot. Horrible season. I have to find a lease next season
