re: The Office - 01-17-13

I finally caught up with this season and after reading that article, it dawned on me that Ryan and Kelly have been absent. Did I miss when they left out did they just stop showing up? I loved their back and forth.

You're just now realizing this?

It's still entertaining, I laughed hard at Darrell killing the fish.

I'm the stand-in on the show. On set now. Jon Favreau is directing.

Is a stand-in the same as an extra?

The office hasn't been good for 3 years. I still try and tune in though.

No, a stand-in is not on camera. A stand-in watches the actors rehearse the scene and then "stands in" for the actors during the lighting process.

Kelly has her own show on FOX The Mindy Project
Ryan left too - probably will never be on tv again, stick to producing/directing

FanInLA, any knowledge on why nbc declined the Dwight spinoff? to me that had more 'Frazier' potential then the Joey spinoff of friends.

Did they write them off somehow or just stop having them on?

Viewers said goodbye to two original “Office” members. Kelly, who is now engaged to Ravi, walks out of the office in style. Ravi got a job in Miami (Ohio), so of course Kelly, who is very confused, feels the need to abandon her winter jackets since she’s going to “hang out with Lebron James and Gloria Estefan.” Unfortunately for Kelly, she does not understand that she is actually moving to Miami, Ohio..not Miami, Florida. Ryan does understand the location of Kelly’s move, and decides to head there as well..although he claims that Kelly has nothing to do with it. According to Ryan, Ohio is Silicon Prairie, the next Silicon Valley.

Now I'm remembering it. I hadn't watched this show in months and picked up on 7 episodes in 2 nights. Sure I forgot a lot.

What's up with the intro theme song only being Pam and Jim kissing?

They've shortened it a lot. Most of the time, it's just Andy pushing his mug off of the desk.

Yeah. Just thought they could choose a better clip for it.

Episode was great though. Good use of everyone in the office. Espresso aspect was golden. Darrells jump shot was great as well.
