Te'o likes Shemales and probably 90% of the story is correct with the only hidden aspect is that his girlfriend is actually a guy. It is one thing to be gay in the locker room but another thing entirely to be dating a Shemale.

The article from Josh Levin of Slate pretty much sums up this entire affair. The media has their preconceived narrative for their good guys and they'll go soft for them.

I'll put a 100 down that pictures surface in the next three months showing Te'o with his she-male girlfriend dressed up in drag.

For instance, b/c ESPN had decided that Craig James (despite the 5 dead hookers...) was a good guy, that Mike Leach must have been a bad guy. It wasn't until last week that I found out that none of James' allegations about Leach were true. Of course, I learned that from a source other than ESPN.
I resent being told how to "feel" about somebody or something. Please just give me the facts.

It's funny how in that interview he says he is hurt and a victim in such but everytime Katie asks him about Tuiasosopo directly, he won't say anything negative about him and how he is really talented to be able to change his voice.

I figured this would come out at some point as an explanation (that some chick was involved). My question is why? I am not buying the gay thing without more evidence.

How do we know that those were recordings from Te'o's phone? How do we know that those recordings weren't made after Deadspin broke the story? Why would the Post rely on the word of unnamed sources?
Sick that this whole fiasco started because "journalists" failed to do basic fact-checking...and STILL new versions come out without basic fact-checking.
