In 2010 - JJ/LSU, Cam Newton/Auburn, USC QB (Spurrier coached)
In 2011 - JJ/LSU
In 2012 - Johnny Manziel.
I think the key is in evading the bliz
What bothers me is we do not have a mobile/dual threat QB on our roster. I do not think we beat Alabama under Nick Saban ever in the Les Miles or Nick Saban era.

yeah south carolina is kind of the anomaly in this but the point is valid.
but imo it's just in coll fb in general. a mobile QB is hard to defend but he has to be able to throw it too.
i know anthony jennings isn't a true dual threat but doesn't he run like a 4.6?
someone like matty flynn who can evade when necessary.

JJ got hurt and Lee came in for one series. Lee completed a key pass and was a key part of the winning effort but JJ was pretty dang good in that game for that duos standards.
10/12 141 yards 1 TD + a key block on the 4th down reverse where he layed out and gave it all for his team.
