birthday dinner sushi suggestions for the gf

Need some help picking a place for the gf's birthday dinner

Gf says she wants sushi but not tsunami.... any other nice places you recommend?

Take her where you know it's good and you know there's a decent atmosphere. It's her birthday dinner.

I vote Koto. They do a half roll menu Mon-Thurs so you get their big speciality rolls for half price/half sized. Good way to try a few.

Yep... Atmosphere might not be the best, but if she likes raw fish it is the best hands down. If she likes lots of sauce and other stuff to mask the fish in a roll, pick anywhere...

whats the price range at sushhi yama? she likes sauce and all that jazz so I dont think koto would.be good fir her

Ichiban or Sushi Yama in Baton Rouge, hands down.

Choose between those two, don't even consider any place else if you are eating the actual sushi. If she wants hibachi, go to Ichiban or Tokyo Cafe.
The atmosphere in Tokyo Cafe is very good for a date.

I like Sushi Yama too. Plus, they have important beers.
