You mean the same average joes running around armed to the teeth with what recruiting insiders tell them and acting as if they have all the answers. C'mon.

Charles I for one believe you have hit the nail on the head with this one...this is kind of like a Landon Collins situation, only this kid doesn't come from a poor upbringing and actually has a father in the picture and has the same last name as both parents...and his bro already is at OM...that means as much as this kid may like us, Mom and Dad will make the final call and this kid will play three years at OM and get drafted there...

so not like landon collins, at all

i still think hes ole miss, but i do think we are still in play. the misconception on here is that all of us beleive we will get RN, when really we are just enjoying the thought of knowing theres a chance.

mom has called the ball.....it's ole miss. She is out of the country and decisions are in stone hence no issue with not accompanying him.

I recruited for LSU for 3 years.......I have a pretty good record for calling it in "real life"

Im sure in your "three years of recruiting" you had extensive experience regarding out of the country Moms and saw exactly how they influenced the decision of their 18 year old kid on another continent.

Not saying we get him, but he has had a long time to commit to Ole Miss. He has scheduled visits to TWO other schools. Before he was a "Ole Miss Lock" he was a clemson commit. Before that he was a Alabama lock.

One thing has stayed constant-an interest in LSU. Can we pull him? I dont know, but to act like you are somehow more clued into this kid than any other person on this board is asinine.

Actually, if I was insinuating that, I've mislead. I am leaning on the experiences I had dealing with family situations and differing interests. That is all. Momma usually wins, period. In LC situation, you had a kid who did not rely on his mother for guidance as opposed to RN who is extremely close with his mother (who happens to be a strong, educated woman).

Boudin, you are correct.....maybe, though, I'm more aware than I know;)

I was a player who was placed on medical then worked with Sam Nader until I left. As far as holding Larry Porter's pencil, well hell no I dont know anything anywhere remotely close to what he does! It was an opinion put across in a fairly arrogant tone....for that, I apologize.

Based on my conversations with some people in the business, I do NOT believe we get this kid. I think he is already keyed into the Ole Miss "system" of connections and contacts. His path has been cleared. Signing with LSU would entail a rejection on his part of certain people that is not likely to happen. But who knows, there is always the outlier kid, but I think this is largely a done deal, and it would require major balls for him to do anything other than Ole Miss. I hope we get him though, because we NEED him and he'd be a beast under Chavis.
