She just said violent crime rates among the white population in the United States are comparable to all these "crime free" European countries we hear about, specifically saying the rate in Belgium was the same as in the US and then proceeded to say we don't have a violence problem, maybe we have a demographics problem. I couldn't believe she said it.

Instead of "whites", she could have said, "middle class"....
And been 100% right.
It's all about socio-economic status.
But, she is a hate-filled wench, so I expect nothing less.

Who would argue that violent crime is not more prevalent among African American and Latino communities? It's a fact.
The interesting issue is the conclusion(s) people draw from that fact.

Why isn't the news all over the HS shooting in California last week? Because it was a black high school and it doesn't fit "the agenda."

The DOJ doesn't compile statistics on perps based upon SES, they do based upon race, why don't you provide her and us with a link to your numbers.

It was an observation.
However, SES is certainly a component to the phenomenon. There is certainly a racial (cultural) component, as well, that derives from multiple causes.
I still find it interesting how adamant some posters are in making their point about the
"problems" with African Americans.
