| great trade idea (no really) (Posted on 1/13/13 at 11:50 pm)
Wolves Trade: Pekovic, D-Will, Barea, Ridnour, Roy, Stiemsma, $3 million cash Receive: Eric Gordon, Robin Lopez, Jason Smith, Kwame, cheap 3rd string PG from either other team The Wolves reload the team with talent to stay in the playoff picture until Love gets back. A Rubio/Gordon/Shved back-court trio would be fantastic, and there'd be no squabble over PT either. Robin Lopez is on a very reasonable contract and is far better defensively than Pekovic. Jason Smith is a decent back-up PF that can start in Love's absence. 76ers Trade: Evan Turner, Kwame Recive: Derrick Williams, Barea The 76ers swap former #2 picks while landing Barea, who could be a very good Louis Williams-type sparkplug off the bench. The Sixers maintain the flexibility to make other deals before the trade deadline. Hornets Trade: Eric Gordon, R. Lopez, J. Smith Receive: Pekovic, Evan Turner, Ridnour, Stiemsma (EC), Roy (EC), $3 million Pek/Stiemsma/AD AD/R.Anderson R.Anderson/Aminu/X.Henry E.Turner/A.Rivers/X.Henry G.Vasquez/Ridnour/E.Turner The Hornets upgrade the C position with Pek, who could be a great fit with AD and/or Anderson. Turner can play and defend multiple positions and would give this Hornets team many different looks Id really hate to get rid of Smith so if people think it would work somehow with retaining Smith im all for it. I know ivr gotten some love and hate for the trades i post but i think this one is super legit

You do know that we (fans) have no control over player personnel decisions, right?

No go to scorer. That team would have trouble making it past the first or second round in the playoffs. Even next year

Name calling? It's just a thread. You didn't have to click on it if you didn't want to. It's not that big of a deal.

Don't worry about it. I know it's fun to play with the trade machine, but there is no reason to believe the Hornets are contemplating some type of blockbuster, multiplayer trade that completely changes the roster. They seem to like their core.

Why would we overhaul when we are finally starting to gel? I am more interested in who we will add while keeping our guys. FA and the draft should be great.

The organization and fans waited a long time to see gordon hit the court and now you want to trade him? Damn! For likes of Roy and Stiemsma? Damn!

Can I trade lsuguy13 for a gonorrhea-infected tranny prostitute and a pack of Juicy Fruit? I don't want gonorrhea or a tranny hooker, but neither is as relentless or terrible as these idiotic threads.
