Rex Ryan, its scary to think what he could do at a school like Michigan or Penn State.

Bill Belicheck is actually a very funny guy in person. He likes to frick with the media and do his coachspeak but hes got a great sense pf humor that comes out in interviews once in a bluemoon
You get him one on one and he could do very well in college.

Tomlin for sure. Successful as a pro, young enough to still be able to relate well to high school and college players.
But he also has a background in college. He was an assistant in the college ranks before Dungy brought him in as a position coach.
I'd also include any other coach who recently won a Super Bowl. As someone already mentioned, they can show up with their ring. They can also use their NFL connections as a selling point. A coach with an NFL background can do a better job of preparing players for a pro career and can use his connections to help his guys get a closer look from NFL teams.

Are you really comparing the two?
ultimately i feel BB would suffer the same fate. i think he'd be more like his pre-brady days as he wouldnt have a HOF QB to mask his mistakes. im a huge BB fan and i think its a unanimous top 2 coach in the league if hes not the top spot. but hes got serious flaws-- anyone notice he cant draft a college WR? hes about 0 for 25 in the category. hes a defensive mastermind, yet hasnt fielded a decent defense since he had tons of old veteran players (tedy bruschi, vrabel, harrison) back in 07. in college you dont get to play 12 year vets. you'd think he could coacch up these young guys hes drafted, but theyre still a work in progress
belichick is the perfect NFL coach but wouldnt be nearly as successful in college.

This is what it boils down to. Most would be excellent X and O guys, the college schemes are so much more simple.
It would all come down to recruiting skills.
