As am I. I would never root for the heat to beat te hornets. Ever.

I fricking love KD. I love the thunder. My arse will never root for the thunder or KD when they are playing the hornets. Never.

Yea life long sounds pretty wired considering you'd have to be young as shite to be a "life long" fan

But I have been a big lebron fan since he entered the league. Still would never root for him/his team against the hornets.

Still sounds weird. I was a big fan as well back in Cleve. Used to love playing with them on the game, especially donyell Marshall. But I wouldn't say I'm a lifelong fan of anyone, really not that big of a fan of one person like that anymore. that's just me.

Crowd sounded into it majority of game.

Radio announcers said they wish crowd would have stayed till buzzer to give players a big ovation instead of emptying out. Then said he was getting off soapbox and understood weather was bad

I have only missed one home game this year. I graduated December 14th and hung out with my family that was in town.

Not many people left until the teams started leaving the floor. While not many people attended, there were surprisingly few people that left early. I mean yeah a few started funneling out when we were up 9 with 40 seconds left, but most were on their feet cheering.

I'm a fan of Bron, but rooting for one player over a team is stupid and creepy

Tyson Chandler used to say the team "just blocked out" the shitty crowd. Maybe that is what Monty should do. Sadly, I usually can't even give my tickets away when I have some. With that said I will be there Friday. Happy the team is playing some good ball. Will be the first time I get to see EG in person!

It's equally lame to be a fanboy of a particular player to the extent it determines who you root for, imo.

If he's a life long Lebron fan, he's probably 13 years old.

That's an over-simplification.

Poor attendance now is expected, and it's been expected. Anyone surprised is not in possession of the facts that matter, which is no big deal.

Attendance will come AFTER a sustained improved performance.

The Hornets crushed opponents in January 2008. Attendance did rise during this time despite the announcement of the benchmarks prior to the run. It bounced later. The following season really saw the attendance spike, even before a single game was played since it goes largely by sales.

Ownership etc. will complain, but what will matter is a lack of improvement next season if the wins come this season.

I'm sure it matters to those looking for things to complain about but who lack enough actual concern to do anything more than merely griping.

Even at it's best, Hornets attendance will less in raw numbers than in other markets due to the Arena size, but the NBA is just fine with that considering they actively deemed the Arena, with ongoing upgrades, as NBA-level on three occasions in 10 years.
