I have been informed that the state is ruling that those who filed prior to 6-14 will keep their refund, all others will miss out. This is a departmental ruling not a legislative act changing the law. It seems that this can not be legal. Any OT attorneys out there who think a class action suit is possible? Thanks

Allow me to at you, considering I own a flex fuel vehicle and already cashed my 3k check and they gave me interest on top of that. It was $3100 and some change.

Your vehicle didn't qualify, DOR incorrectly labeled your vehicle as qualifying and you reaped the benefits of an error on DOR's end.

FWIW, I'm not blaming you for applying and receiving the funds.

I'm not blaming me either. Blame state of Louisiana for having a loophole in that law. I couldn't believe they gave me interest on top the 3k.

If I recall correctly, the legislation didn't have a loophole but the rules were incorrectly promulgated by DOR...

I'm really not sure, but I know this much, if it wasn't for TD, I would have not gotten that credit.

So to TD!
