Good game, 67-64 Lakers in the 3rd. Lakers had to empty the bench with Gasol, Howard and Hill out, but have played with more energy.

- Nash gets his 10,000th assist

- Harden workin Kobe on offensive iso's

Lakers are playing more team basketball tonight and may be a better team without Howard/Gasol lost in the offense.

Solid game. The Rockets have a history of playing the Lakers close and losing in the fourth quarter when Kobe becomes the CLOSER. Now, we have Harden. I'm excited to see how this game finishes. The guy has been unbelievable late in games lately.

Except w/o Gasol/Howard they'd become one of the 5 worst defensive teams in basketball.

This team is in such disarray. I held off for a while calling them a dumpsterfire but it seems their fate is sealed for this season.

Son, they're already 26th of 30 teams in defense.

Their next games are tough too. 15-21 is very possible. Maybe even 16-22.

Yeah I see it on CBS sports, Rockets can kick their arse even further down and bring them to the brink of complete disappointment.

Last I checked IIRC they were 19th in defensive efficiency, which is still horrible for any team w/ championship aspirations. Been plumetting the last few weeks.

Compare to their 08-11 run where they finished in top 5 twice and worst was 9th.

I have no idea who most of these people are that the Lakers are putting on the court.

Lakers are going to miss the playoffs. They likely need about 45 wins just to get in.
