I know this is obscure but I've always loved the sequence in Rushmore with The Who's A Quick One While He Is Away Is Playing. The bees/destroying the bike/cutting the brakes sequence. It has always just resonated with me for some reason.

Mexican standoff at the end of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Pure awesomeness.

My friends and I quote that scene all the time. If noone has seen it, it is amazing on so many levels. Not only the content of the conversation, but Hopper's character's motivation for having it.

One of Tarantino's flashes of brilliance.

Kinda like Tim Roth spewing chunks in Four Rooms trying to say "What the frick is that" at the same time.

If noone has seen that scene w Hopper and Walkin, you need to see it. Slater and Oldman's standoff (Mr. Majestyk) in an earlier scene is well-written, too...Slater just didn't quite pull it off very well, IMO. Oldman was spot-on, as always.

One of my favorite recent scenes was the opening scene from Inglorious Bastards.

Children of Men

The fact that the baby's cries stop war is powerful. But the fact that they go right back to fighting is what resonated with me

This. The fact that Hopper knows its the end makes it so great. He asks for one of those Chesterfields and gives Walken a big frick you.

This is easily the one I've seen the most times, from our old bootleg beta copy to blu ray. May the force be with you motherfrickers.
