Watched this first episode on 1channel but all the ads and download issues made us just wait for tonight.

Afraid Shirley MaClaine will distract from this show

not sure where else they can take this series

I don't like Shirley Maclaine at all but I am excited about tonights new season.
I hope she doesn't ruin it.

I've watched about half of season 3 so far. It has been pretty good.

Does paying keep the ads off?

I hope we don't see spoilers in this thread. I watched half of season 3 on the site you mentioned but stopped because I didn't want to get any viruses.

Is it better than Season 2? Because that season has come close to jumping the shark from my perspective. Too much like a soap opera with at least a couple of ludicrous developments. I like the acting and general theme and Maggie Smith in particular so I'll probably watch regardless but I'm hoping it gets better this year.

From what I have seen so far, I would say it tones down on that somewhat. No miraculous recoveries from paralysis or anything like that.

saw it recommended on here a year or two ago, and I enjoyed Luther and Sherlock so much so British TV had the benefit of the doubt with me. Not my favorite show by any means, but I enjoy it.
