That would be the "Saints Talk" board dumbass. This is a "more sports" board, for discussion amongst everyone.

That is probably a better question. Probably less Eagles fans in the Atlanta area

Well less playoff wins isn't really possible but I doubt we would have made a deep run at all with Schaub. Maybe we would have won a game but we would have never had a contending team.

Schaub is really helped out by handing the ball to Foster 2/3 of the plays.

I guess an argument would be who we could have gotten with the 4th pick that year and how that could impact our team.

Falcons used the Texans picks in 07 on Jamaal Anderson and Justin Blalock and in 08 on Harry Douglas (after trade with Washington)

You're on a general sports message board WITHIN a LSU site, which is in the saints backyard, DUMBASS.

but we really shouldn't be dominating every topic on this board.

I hate when a bunch of rantards bombard Saints Talk and I'm an LSU fan.

The falcons had no choice but to trade Schaub. They couldn't re-sign him and Atlanta would have rioted like LA after Rodney King if the team got rid of Vick.

I think Ryan and Schaub are very similar and probably wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Probably a lot worse. If he had never gotten involved in that, or had just never gotten caught, he would still be the last to show up to practice and the first to leave, he would still be flipping off the fans when they boo him for playing like shite, etc. Plus he just isn't that good of an NFL QB. He turns it over too much and he isn't durable. Ryan is pretty safe with the ball and rarely gets hurt despite playing behind a crap O-line.

I was mad about trading Schaub at the time because the writing was already on the wall with Vick - flicking off fans, Ron Mexico, Airtran dropping him... I don't think Schaub is as good as Ryan, but we could have done a lot with that pick. For the sake of simplicity, I'll say that Petrino still would have bailed and Mike Smith and Michael Turner still would have arrived the next season. In the end, I think we would have been 1-2 wins per year worse.

You dont see me getting all upset when I ask questions about the Saints on UGA's "expanded sports board" and the Falctards tell me they hate the saints.

Its to be expected.

I am not so retarded that I think I can be on the vibrant heavy trafficked UGA message board and ask questions about the saints that I shouldnt be told to frick off.
