OK, so I know y'all know I've had issues with Gunbroker sellers re: lack of communication.

Well, that didn't stop me from using them again.
I bought one for the wife (anniversary gift), paid for it in 15 minutes.
This was on Thursday.

Ask me how much communication I received from either the seller or the the FFL?

LSS: Gunbroker has great selection, competitive prices, goofy sellers.

I'm having the same problem but as a buyer. I put up 4 pmags on gunbroker. Final price was $160. Buyer sent me an email right after asking for an address to send the money order. I replied. He sent me another email the next day asking if I could send him the address (I guess he missed my first e-mail). I replied again. 5 days later and 4 e-mails to him with no response or confirmation that he got my address.

Hmm, did you post a phone number as a seller?
Your replies may be going into his Junk folder.

One of the things I've noticed is all the sellers have:
one email/name on Gunbroker.
They have a different name on the CC reciept and a different name when you call them.

I tried to get the gun locally through Arms Merchant, but they were out of stock.

In my experience Gunbroker is a crappy option, but glad that it has worked for you. It is a great concept, I just don't see prices very competitive at all. A good gun shop will have used prices that are very similar, and the best substitute I've found is to join places like glocktalk and sigforum and use the classifieds.

Nope.

I doubt it shows until Friday.

That will be almost a week.
Good thing I paid $35 for "two day" shipping.

On the new stuff, it seems they are generally on the money.

I paid $699 for the Beretta 92FS in stainless.
Maybe a bit high, but he had it in stock.

$700 for a Beretta is very reasonable. My first gun, a 90 two, was about 700 and it wasn't even stainless. That's not a bad deal at all.

Keep us posted after you get it.

Will do.

I bought it for the wife. I wanted a kinda big ( less recoil) , dead-reliable, semi-auto 9.

After 22 years the woman deserves something kinda big.

Haha well played.

I love my Beretta. I have two different uppers for it and both of them run like tops. I've shot the original 9mm upper about 8-9k times and I've shot the 40 upper about 3-4k times. Both are great. I trust the 40 as my home defense weapon if that tells you anything.

That's a lot of shooting.

I aim to shoot more this year.

.45, 9s, all of 'em.
