Regarding Simon....

I guess he is thinking that since he resembles Mo, that he has similar talent?

Or maybe that his measurable and being "coached up" will get him a high pick?

Because he has regressed from his Freshman performance to his Sophomore year, and then stayed there,or maybe even regressed more, to have the worse of his 3 years as a Tiger this year in '12.

He got worked big time most of the back half of the 2012 season.

I don't think losing him is that big of a deal, so good luck to him based on the measurables and "potential"...

so naturally staying another year will help him if things stay the same?

He's probably tired of having to meet LSU fans' bullshite expectations. Hell we had the Bednarik and SEC defensive player of the year and we gave him shite for giving up 4 catches and zero TDs on jan .9th.

Yeah I'm sure the players NEVER look at the most popular website for LSU and SEC sports. Never.

Why can't you guys understand that they want to get paid to play football. Why waste another year not getting paid.

Thought I heard Mike Detillier say Simon could be a late 2nd round pick on this evenings news. Maybe he was talking about Spencer Ware... (Also said Mingo could go top 10, Montgomery mid to late teens, Wing in the 4th round. Says Bennie Logan is the most underrated player in the draft.)

doubt he has the time to read it or the want (that one was for you leslie edwin).

and even if he did see someone say something negative about him on here i doubt he'd leave for the nfl becasue of it.

I agree. Hope he's not another Trev Faulk. But good luck to him.

He hardly played his freshman season and was really fricking good last year. He had his ups and downs this year, but so did everyone else in the secondary. Probably a result of losing 4 quality players and a good coach. He will be drafted between the 2nd and 4th rounds unless he completely blows his work outs.

He was by far our best cover corner this year. Maybe Mills and Collins can be the next great corner duo here, but I would expect an even worse secondary next year.

If that's true, then I have no problem with him coming out. I would be surprised if he went that early.

Chris Hawkins actually played meaningful snaps with the Titans and is with the Eagles now.

Chevis Jackson was out of the league in 3 years.

Simon will spend a year on a practice squad and see where it takes him.

When did I say I didnt understand this? Simon should go. He will get far better training in the pros. You can only practice so much in college.

Glad Reid has his degree now. Doubt any of these other guys ever will. Hope football works out for 'em.
