Considering Ernest Givins always got smashed in every game. Leonard Smith, Biscuit, and Kelly were out that was a fun game.

I also remember Paul Kelso's double shell and Kent Hulls straps to pads for helmet.

Its debatable, but the 90's team made the playoffs 7 years in a row and had some epic loses. Besides Buffalo the Stagger Lee game vs Denver and the KC game, which I can bring up next for that 20th anniversary

I was so pissed when they made the SB that year, that was so un Oiler like, but they reverted to form the next year, losing to Baltimore

I wish I could find the Tank McManara comic strip that ran the week after it was funny as all get out.

Was the worse Oiler loss to Montana's Chiefs when Ryan punched Gilbride? I believe the best part other than the fight was when Kerry Cash drilled the Ryan poster after the TD.

I'm pretty sure the fight was during the Jets game at the end of the regular season. But I think the Chiefs loss was worse, because after starting 1-4, they won 11 straight including a win at SF on Christmas day. Everyone was over the Bills game and they had a real shot at the SB and then chokola again. Then in his infinite wisdom Bud Adams came out and asked for new stadium the next week when everyone was pissed. I wish they had left the name and legacy, but thank God Adams is gone.

absolutely. i thought there was no way they could lose to the Chiefs. they were on such a roll. and were doing so in the wake of the Jeff Alm situation and Babygate. Moon must have gotten sacked 10 times that day. That game always bothered me worse than the Buffalo game.

I'll say this about the Buffalo game. as far as i'm concerned, the quickness with which they caught up is the most remarkable thing about the comeback, not the deficit. Hell, they had damn near caught up by the end of the THIRD QUARTER.

why was with Chris Berman yelling NOTHING everytime Kurt Schultz made a play? Schultz was a safety for the Bills. You hear Berman say it a few times around the :25 second mark. It wasn't just this highlight reel either though. He would say it every time Schultz did something.

yeah that sucked. I really wanted Dallas to embarasss the Oilers in the Super Bowl instead of the Bills.

i kid, i kid ... I really was pissed, I was pulling for Houston. I honestly think if they had just taken a knee for every play in the 4th quarter they would have won.

And one parting shot - Houston Oilers = Best NFL uniforms ever.

Frank Reich. QB responsible for both the greatest comeback in the NFL and college football. The man.

He doesn't have the college record anymore. Michigan St surpassed that vs Northwestern.

Its from Hogan's Heros, an old TV show. It was a sitcom set in a WWII German POW camp, writing that just sounds wtf. Anyway, one of the German guards was named Schultz and he used to say We know NOTHING, or something along those lines,

Jack Pardee looked befuddled on the sidelines even when the Oilers were kicking that arse.
