With college basketball getting heated up, I'm curious to who you guys think is the best college player in America.
Some of my top players
Doug McDermott F Creighton 23.5ppg
CJ McCollum G Leigh leading the nation in scoring 25.7ppg
Mason Plumlee F Duke 19.5 ppg 11rpg 2.7 dunks per game
Isaiah Canaan G Murray State 20.9 ppg
Cody Zeller C Indiana 16.6ppg 8.5rpg

I would add Shabazz Muhammad who is playing well after a relatively poor start and Ben McLemore.
I think McDermott, McCollum, and Plumlee are on track to be first-team All-Americans for sure. The next 2 spots could be between Muhammad, McLemore, Burke, Russ Smith, and a couple other guys.

Burke is good no question, but with all of the talent on his team I'm not sure he'll put up big numbers n Big-10 games.

Only seen him play twice in my life so I can't say much. But his stat line doesn't seem incredible enough to get First-team honors as a guy playing at a tiny school. McDermott's does.

I saw Canaan a few times in HS and State, Ole Miss, LSU and Southern Miss all missed on him.
