What's the charge for trapping deer?

Recently heard a rumor a high fence area has "gates" set up to trap all deer that enter the fence. All other surrounding area used to kill really nice deer. Since the high fence has gone up, no good deer have been taken in a big area surrounding. Recently heard someone I know made traps for these people. Also know these guys have money and have a few friends in the office that counts. Any tips? Property is about 1/2 mile from our property. In case someone is reading, this story may or may not be hypothetical.

I can't stand pieces of shite that do stuff like this. Abuse of public offices to gain personal benefits puts them squarely in the same camp as the people who steal bicycles and dump trash on the side of the road. Everyone down here is so proud of the 'good ole boy' system we have; this is why it's a terrible idea.
That being said....
I'd love to hear a story of them getting busted but unfortunately sometimes there is little you can do. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to lawyer up for them to back down tho. Can you walk up to the traps and take pictures? I'd imagine you need some sort of evidence to get the authorities involved.
