Nope I'm his best friend he was shot 20 feet from me nothing I could do but watch him die. There was ten of us 4 of us got messed up with jake paying the ultimate sacrifice. Body count for them 26 we fought hard I guess not enough

And they lied to his dad rpg hit my truck and blew me out of it. Jake was killed with an ak I rode out on his truck. It's amazing Jim made it to Iraq when he did

Can you go into more detail if you dont mind? I have this media sensationalized idea of what it mustve been like. But I would like to hear your detailed description of the entire incident.
Particularly what the enemy was like. And if you captured any and how they acted towards you. Id like to hear a first hand account.
Also, were you there with his father when he went to the location?
If it is too much for you to recount, Id understand.

I was in Iraq when his father was but had no idea he was there. To this day he is the only parent to make it over there non military. They have spoke with some producers about buying the rights but they are worried Baldwin and or Gibson may put a negative spin on the movie we will see. Our platoon has said take the money if they make us look bad we don't care. That is his major concern. Its late I'm not getting into it; just jake was so looking forward to hunting when we got back so hunting season gets me to thinking and the depression sets in.

It just got messed up in the report it was not an rpg the fire fight was initiated with an rpg it struck my hmmwv blew me out I scrambled back got my m4 that's when they closed in on jacob's truck and shot the shite out if it. I killed a Good many but not enough nor quick enough. I'm sorry I'm going to bed tired of talking. Later guys

eta. and Lake stated that there was a discrepancy in the report given. I took it that he was just asking for the actual account of the events. yet he even said..
