"The search for a replacement at Karr for Juluke will begin immediately with early names floated including West Jefferson head coach Marcus Scott and former O. Perry Walker and Landry head coach Skip Lamothe, among others."

I heard Skip was recommended by Juluke. This is the first I heard of Marcus Scott though he did play his junior high ball at Karr and we were surprised when he left to play high school ball at Jesuit.

I'd rather the AD promote from within to keep the chemistry right either promote the DC T.Howard or the OC Coach Brice, or bring in Coach Scott from West Jeff

From what I was told, the current guys stated they weren't quite ready for the HC job themselves. I know that there is fellow alum that would like to see Edward Dillon take the job. He's currently coaching at Nicholls State. He was metro defensive player of the year in '93 when Karr won the first championship.

Lamothe is the word and that's good for LSU. Never know what can happen if certain people get involved in the process, however.

I played for Coach Scott at West Jeff in 2009 and 2010, he'd be a solid choice IMO.

Runs a Spread Offense and his defense usually changes with the personnel that they have available. We ran a 3-3-5 both years I played and he ran a 4-3 if I'm not mistaken this year.

I believe he (Lamothe)was on F. Wilson's staff at O.P. Walker as well so that has to be good for LSU.
