After all we have witnessed over the last 4 years it could not have been made any worse by Russell Shephard throwing a single pass or 2 or 3 or......!??! 
He seemed to be bringing such Great Promise to a Team that had just won a National Title only to be bringing so many unanswered questions to be awarded the Nations Number 1 Recruit. :rimshot:

Don't be miserable. Contrary to popular belief, Miles does what's best for the team and knows more about his players and more about football than you or anyone else on this site.

It's nothing against RS. Lsu has had countless players come through with a skill set similar to RS. Guys who can run, catch, and throw but maybe not great at any of those skills.
Our staff simply refuses to utilize the talent they have in other ways outside of the vanilla offense we run. We have never even run a true wildcat with a man in motion.
It really is pathetic when you watch other schools utilize talent that's nowhere near what we have and get production from it and think of all the possibilities and options you could have when you have guys like RP11, holiday, doucet, chris and Jared mitchell, RR, Ware, RS, Magee and others.
We would rather run FB dives, and QB sneaks with 11 in the box though. We dont have time for that silly crap here at LSU.

Dude give up on this shite. It may be hard for you to understand but the coaches know more than you do. From all accounts from ppl that have seen his throw in practice. His passes would have been better to have been featured on Duck Dynasty rather than on ESPN in Tiger Stadium.

You just named guys that play in the nfl and one that went strictly baseball. You have no fricking clue what ur talking about.
The coaches job at lsu is to graduate players and send them to nfl. Rs was never playing qb or rb in the nfl. The ciaches did him a favor and tried to put him in his best spot for an nfl future. Why people cant see that just baffles me. Just the miles haters looking for ammo but come to find out they are shooting blanks.

The offense was dynamic in 2007 and almost unstoppable. Haven't seen an offense like it since or before. With similar inventiveness and as good as our defense is now maybe we'd have another NC instead of 2nd place west finishes.
But then again our QBs have sucked and we still win a lot so who knows.

There is no way in hell that Miles will allow him to throw a ball now because if it works, people would be all over his arse because he didn't do it sooner. Give it a break.
