Dad gonna be sick(Missed buck now dead)

2 weeks ago my dad missed a big deer on our lease. He went on and on about how big it was, and talked about it having messed up bases on its right side. He told me it was a stud, but I figured he may have been a lil excited. Fast forward to this morning and I get a text from one of my buddies. Guy hunting land next to ours shot a coyote at 200 yds. He then gets down to go get the coyote and this bastard walks out. Kicker is it's his first deer. Ain't gonna leave much room for improvement. Dad was officially sick when I sent him the pic

I count 13 total with 3 main beams on one side and 2 brow tines on the other. That is a nice deer but give it 1-2 more years and it could have been a record setting buck.

Oh man that sucks.
I let my step brother hunt my stand on say because its closer to the camp and he had stomach issues. He killed a 140 inch 13 point. It sucks.
