The same idea is working flawlessly on the WiiU, I don't see why it couldn't work on a stronger console, with a handheld 500 times more powerful than the crap on the WiiU controller.

I was referring to being in a different part of the country and being able to connect back to the PS4 to play games on the vita. Remote play with PS3 did not work well at all. Maybe I didn't know that the WiiU could do that.

oh dang.. yeah, the WiiU can't do that, but it can do it over the network in your home (which is much faster because it's a network.. but yeah) but the WiiU is also waaaaaaay under-powered compared to the next consoles, and the vita. I honestly can't wait to just do the "connected to your ps4" by the network feature, I don't spend a whole lot of time out of town, so that will suffice for me anyways.

Depends on the game. A lot of PS1 Classics worked super well.

The Vita has a lot of momentum right now in Japan. Here's another JRPG announced for it.

I think Sony has finally started figuring things out.

PS4 looks like they are doing it right as far as making it accessible to all developers. The Vita was obviously a piece of tech that most are just now understanding how awesome it is and how awesome it will be paired with the PS4.

I'd give Hotline Miami or Dokuro a shot if you haven't played either already. Both are smaller games that are suited to be played on the go. Dokuro is more of an platformer/puzzle with light action.

For big games, what all have you played and beaten?

I haven't, I'll check them out, thanks

for big games:

Persona 4, Gravity Rush, Ninja Gaiden, Rayman.. and that's about it

Have you tried or looked into Uncharted, Wipeout, or Ragnarok Odyssey? All 3 are good.

Uncharted, Wipeout,

I've played both, they are both ok but neither of them stand out to me. Wipeout is like a loose version of f-zero.. which kinda bugged me, the handling on it was just outrageously hard.

Uncharted is ok, but couldn't get into it as much as other games.

Ragnarok Odyssey

I want to play this game, isn't it online though?

Never played F-Zero, only wipeout. I guess I was used to it.

No it is not. You can play through the entire thing on your own. It's a lot more fun to play with people online, but not required.

So I noticed that my hori case has scratched the shite out of the silver bezel around my Vita

meh, mine is ok, but honestly I would never take my VITA out of something like that, it's really nice having the screen covered when I'm not playing it, and that little bit of extra protection from drops etc.. so I expect to never see the silver again as long as I own the vita.

BTW, I bought Ragnorok Odyssey and the Trials game, fun so far!

Ragnorok reminds me a lot of Phantasy Star Online, which makes me very happy.

If you do want to play online together, let me know. I don't mind questing with ya.

cool ok, I will probably create an archer or something for online play, I had the across the board "ok" class for playing solo... the swordsman.

I have an assasin. It doesn't really matter which character you have. Considering you get to keep all of the items and stuff, it'd probably be best to use the same character.

I'm an archer on everything I do.. MMOs to single player games.. 98.99% of the time, so switching to an archer to play would be fun. Not that I've done all that much yet anyways, I just finished my 3rd quest.. so not far in yet anyways.
