But the Japanese company (actual Atlus, not Atlus USA) had nothing to do with the localization. It's here in the states that they choose the same 15 people every single time.

Yeah. It's been in the works for a while. It'll either be announced at their Persona/SMT event later this year or Tokyo Game Show. Will likely be Ps3 and release this year or early next.

Atlus USA is a subsidiary of Atlas Japan..that being said, I still view Funimation as a "Japanese" company.. even though they are based out of Houston, oh well.
I should totally become an anime voice actor, there seem to not be all that many, and you seem to constantly have a job.

Seriously though, if it's actually released for the ps3, I will be slightly sad.. I want to be able to play it on my VITA, I can't even tell you the last time I actually turned on a console, the TV is used for movies and tv shows these days.

Sounds like they are making a Vita version as well. The comments the developer made were how great it was putting 4 on the Vita.

While having it on Vita would be great, I'm sure there could be a port down the line. Every major SMT game has started on a console except for the most recent (SMT4 for 3DS).

lol, no worries. It's tough to find any news on niche games, especially considering how badly Japanese games are ignored by the big gaming sites.

I don't think you got what I was saying.. if it was on the ps4, we could have played it on our vita, while it was on the ps4.. remote play.

Yes, I was talking about an enhanced port (Persona 1 and 2 were completely remade for PSP while 3 was ported). Persona 4 was remade for Vita and I imagine Persona 5 will see a Vita release if its on PS3.
I'm discounting remote play in favor of an actual Vita version.

Finally picked up EDF and its great. Graphics are hilariously bad but it is what it is. They only thing that actually bugs me is that when you destroy a big skyscraper the wrekage disappears before it all hits the ground. Still really fun though.

Some comments about Vita and remote play.

I know that the tech that will be used in the PS4 is supposed to help a ton with lag etc. But I still get weary on believing that it will go as smoothly as they are selling on the Remote Play.

The same idea is working flawlessly on the WiiU, I don't see why it couldn't work on a stronger console, with a handheld 500 times more powerful than the crap on the WiiU controller.
