I found a site for a bottle cutter to cut them down to glass size. LINK

Wiping out a few low bottles this evening. Pour 1-5 I think...

ETL has been hitting shelves more and more lately. Phillipes probably has a few going for $89.99

I'll wait for the email inviting me to stock up on this rare allocation, at only $149.99 per bottle.

Indeed I had been buying rhetoric and barter and storing it while my stuff was packed...didn't realize how many I had of each.

Hey guys when looking for smaller batch bourbons what are the better places to shop in New Orleans? I'm familiar with Martin's, Dorignac's and the local groceries in mid city which have decent selections but are there any mom and pop type places that would have better options?

this thread has become too popular. Most posters are no longer willing to share honey holes on the open forum. A sad but realistic fact in the current market.

I hear ya. I'm looking forward to the Forged Oak. Guess a few days off this weekend will help clear room.

And $1300 is insane, but still better by a long shot over "Napoleon's" price.

Is the Weller Special Reserve any good?
Weller Ole Antique 107?
What's a normal price if I find Weller 12?
Also what's a normal price for Elmer T Lee?

Thanks and Merry Christmas guys!

After successfully branching out into ryes, I want to try a few bottles of Scotch. My first three bottles will be Higland Park 12, Glendronach 12 and Balvenie 12 Double Wood. Comments or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Paging Dr Beardface.
