Yeah I get it, he's lucky because she's hot. The hotness novelty always wears off though. Let's see how they do in 6 months. Congrats to them though.

I was surprised to hear her refer to herself as "Samantha Ponder" this morning on College Gameday. I don't recall another instance of a female TV personality changing her last name after getting married. Maybe it was common 50 or 60 years ago, but definitely not in the 21st century.

To each his own, but I don't think Tom Brady could have landed Giselle Bundchen if he had given her that ultimatum. By the way, another group of women who don't use their husband's last names are the daughters and grandaughters of famous politicians (eg. Liz Cheney, Susan Eisenhower, Chelsea Clinton, Caroline Kennedy, Jenna Bush, Mika Brzezinski, etc.)

Only reason I know this is because for a time, while I was stationed in Korea, the only thing on AFN was survivor reruns and shitty commercials.
