Are we still being called the worst defense in the NFL because of yardage?

We won't know the answer to that until after tonight's game & those stats are factored in with the stats from all the other teams.

They need to allow 364 yds or less in each of the next 2 games to not be the worst ydg defense in history.

32nd in yds but 27th in scoring allowed!

2nd in most safeties- badass

Pass rush more clear than ever as the achilles heel- 27th with 24. Thankful that Jordan has been coming on strong. High impact guy to replace Smith would go a long long ways in improving this D. Michael Johnson UFA from Cincy or Montgomery in the draft look like the fits to me.

This. Maybe it's because we've also dropped 18 INTs

I'm hoping we can have 2 guys with 10 or more, and the rest of the defense a combined 15. We would be middle of the league in sacks.

Pretty sure thats the number of interceptions we've thrown on offense.

All those INT numbers line up with the amount those teams' QBs have thrown

We got 5 of them in one game
While that's nice it's a little skewed

Except that's offense. We're tied for the most interceptions thrown.

ETA: Our defense is 13th with 14 interceptions.

No after picking off Josh Freeman 4 times we now have 18 ints. What ever you are looking at is not updated

well what the OP posted is the offensive int #'s.

We have 14 interceptions according to ESPN, and that is updated.

Nope. After picking off Freeman 4 times, we have 14. I've looked at multiple sites, including NFL.com. They include the picks from yesterday.

Okay you guys are right but it's pretty confusing to have offensive interceptions listed in the middle of defensive stats

The team stats are not updated because if you look at Drew Brees passing yards it says 4335 but if you look at the Saints passing yards it says 4173

yardage lost to sacks is taken out of team passing totals.

so why does greer have 3 interceptions on the year and it says 2 of them happened yesterday?
