Bad information? Saying a shotgun is better for HD isn't bad information, even if it is his opinion. I can think of 100 different scenarios where a shotgun would be a much better choice.

In my opinion.

Only bad info in there was having a glock on the list.

I was once in the shotgun for HD group too. Learning has change my mind drastically, especially when better options are available.

1: The PSA LBK I bought for 130... is it that much worse than the 180 or is it just cheaper because the name brand?

its not worse, the stock and grip arent as high quality, name wise, but its not like you bought garbage.
