My wife wants me to watch the Harry Potter movies

The earlier ones are very childish, but OK. Once you get to the Goblet of Fire they start to get better. I thought Deathly Hallows 1&2 were really good movies outside of being Harry Potter films.

I had to watch them twice just to get into them. I don't think I paid attention the first time. Second time around they were great. Definitely recommend. Give them a try. Wife made me watch them too.

They're pretty good. Some are better than others though. the 3rd and 7th films are the best in the series.

Just watch them with your wife.
They broke box office records for a reason.
Also the first 2-3 movies are aimed at children a LOT more than the last few.. so try not to be put off by that.

Read the books, they're awesome. The movies are great but suck in comparison, they leave out half the story

You will likely enjoy them, but don't let that stop you from negotiating some benefits for yourself in return for watching them with her.
