If I bring this bull shite to the courthouse will they just dismiss it? I have a clean record. I've never heard of a ticket for 5 over. This in Jackson County MS if that matters.

I was doing a couple of miles over on a Main Street, non residential area. Was not driving reckless. He was a real prick too.

Just pay the ticket and don't speed.

that's miss for you. if it's your first ticket ever, then maybe they will knock it down to an improper equipment??
couldn't hurt to take it in at least. otherwise, just send in the ~$150 or so bucks and take your lumps.
do you have out-of-state plates, or something? did you at least get some name calling in while he handed you the ticket?
