It's solid. Wraps things up well.

Apparently BBC changed their mind and dropped it but Cinemax still has the option to pick it up again on their own.

ETA:

does it get better?

Yes. It stops being so much "Freak of the Week" after the first season and settles into its overall arc nicely.

I should actually say it wraps "most" things up well... One major thing obviously isn't so that it could lead into the second season (but all CURRENT mysteries are solved).

So this is kind of cool... Apparently Jill Scott is a huge Fringe fan and put out a bunch of feelers to come up with the guest role. She almost sounds mad she didn't get to do more.

quote:

Q) How did you get the part?

A) Well, at first I asked for it. Fringe is one of my favorite television shows from its inception. I absolutely love all of the science fiction of it, the mystery of it, the science in it. The characters are wonderful and so rich. Walter, of course, is my absolute favorite, and I had met with pretty much every company, television broadcast company in America. I kept saying these are the kinds of shows that I want to be involved in. I just put the word out there and, of course, I asked for it. I believe in saying things out loud, and I had Fringe.

There's a blast from the past. I wonder if she'll be Walter's spirit guide.

Couple thoughts...

Peter may still be able to do observer type stuff... Depends on how the brain changed effected him in the long run..

Peter explaining to Walter how amazing the tech was makes me think Walter may end up inserting the test tech into his brain by the end of this...
