I've actually said the same thing, but for September. We have gone 4 seasons of seeing September ever single episode.. and now we are at episode 9 and still haven't seen him. I'm really starting to get irritated at it more than intrigued, it's irritating and not funny at this point.
Gene has been frozen in the amber the whole season if nothing else.. September, just gone.

I wonder if Leonard Nimoy will play a big role in the last six eps of Fringe, like he did in the reboot of Star Trek.....hmmmmm.....
I honestly think Bell will have some key play, but I don't know if we will actually see him personally again.

Did September die last season or not (like that matters at all in the changing world of Fringe)?

that's why I don't believe Bell comes back from the Amber, at least not present Bell. If we see Bell again it'll be in the past, in some way or the other, and he'll be creating / doing something, that brings our team to where they are now.

No, while I do believe ever instance we saw of September during the course of the season was actually AFTER the point he told Walter "they are coming," I believe September was still alive (could still be alive) until the other observers learned he was a traitor. Hopefully this is actually not the case, and he somehow escaped, and this device Walter is building.. will show us how.

That makes sense. Hopefully we'll find out about the kid/September in the next episode or two.

I might be misremembering but I could've sworn that someone posted some interview of one of the creators and he mentioned that we haven't seen the last of Simon.
Anyone remember this??

Because his head was in a lab the next episode.
There hasn't been any other mention of what happened to Bell... I'm assuming he's still in amber and we won't be seeing him again (unless they somehow managed to keep an appearance under wraps).

So they took Simon, but left Bell in amber?

They knew who Simon was... Bell had been ambered for 26 years so they just left him there.

Hope they resolve this

I don't think they have to, etta is dead, Simon's head was seen, there really isn't another connection to Simon left in this world.
Bell is still Ambered, I think that's the idea they are putting out there because of the whole hand thing.. they cut off his hand, because that's it for his story, other than maybe a flashback or something to that extent.

I still don't understand how the baldies haven't figured out that they are in the lab, a lot of the time... I mean the windows are 10-20 feet where guards are walking around.
Maybe I'm just trying to hard with that one

Most of this season has been pretty plot hole eccentric.. considering it's a rushed final season though, I'm not gonna complain to much.. no September though, I'm getting angry.
