Ruh Roh........if Jones is hired and the ship continues to go south, Harts arse is grass it seems. Why don't the big money folks make more of a push to run Hart out?

I don't like either, but I'd take Smart over Butch, even though I tend to prefer guys with HC experience.
Butch Jones has walked into programs that were already built, and I don't like his offense very much.
I'd prefer the defensive minded guy.

The only redeeming thing about this is the fact that it is coming from Rucker. He has been the biggest inept bafoon of the Knoxville media in this entire search, and that is saying a lot.

I bet this is a smokescreen to make the Butch Jones hiring look better to Vol fans. As unhappy as they are about Jones, it pales in comparison to how angry they would feel about Kirby Smart being hired.

There is no situation where either would be remotely acceptable to the fan base. And there is no way Hart would survive either (and I find it unlikely he survives, regardless of who is hired).
