first time.... never seen it.... just got amazon prime... this is the first movie i want to watch on it. im currently OBSESSED with Fringe so citizen kane..... i hear its.... ok..... but real talk... what am i about to watch????

watch the camerawork: the shadows, the angles, the "deep focus" shots also pay attention to the dialogue and how welles lets people interrupt each other and talk at the same time and ponder how little has changed with big media still deciding what people should think

Not a fan, and I'm usually the guy who appreciates movies for camera work/cinematography/blocking, stuff like that. I think even with all of that stuff being pretty good, I really disliked the story, and that bled over to me not liking the movie overall. I just thought it was exceptionally boring. Had it shown in three different film classes in college and after sitting through the first viewing all the way, I fell asleep in the last two.

Touring Hearst Castle helps with the fun of it or at least watching a documentary. CK has one of the greatest movie quotes of all time...I won't spoil it but it involves a girl with a white parasol.
