That's actually pretty cool.

They can call whatever they choose. That doesn't mean it holds a candle to Tiger Stadium. There is a reason TS is on every list of the toughest places to play both in the USA and world wide. I have never seen Clemson on any of those lists.

Let them have it.
In reality, nobody cares about them calling their stadium "Death Valley", because they are never seriously good.
Tiger Stadium has become more synonymous with the nick-name "Death Valley" because LSU's program is actually relevant, and Tiger Stadium is known as one of the toughest places to play. It actually lives up to the name... it isn't just pasted as wording on the stadium.
In other words, Clemson may have had the nick-name first, but LSU made it famous.

LSU claims Death Valley by being better at everything than Clemson.

The mighty Presbyterian College head coach named it Death Valley..... impressive right?

Unless the people on the side of the team are catching Mardi Gras beads they should have gone home. Although they might have not realized the beads are plastic and tried to pawn them later.

Clemson was the first Death Valley, but when you ask most people today what College Stadium is called Death Valley- most would say LSU. LSU is to Clemson as Xerox is to ditto. LSU's "Death Valley" might not have come first but it is the better known brand.

Mobile, AL had the first American Mardi Gras.

how can you be Death Valley when 80% of your games are at noon

I call it Tiger Stadium. Death Valley is cool, but only if it is unique. Since it is not unique, and since Clemson probably did have it first, and since our's probably was Deaf Valley to morph into Death Valley, I say let them have it.
It's Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium, and that is cool enough to endure forever as completely cool and sufficient of an identity for me for our stadium, which is unquestionably superior to Clemson's stadium.

They can claim it all they want but everyone outside of Clemson knows Tiger Stadium is the real Death Valley

Detroit has the real Tiger Stadium. Face it you are imitators.

They're building high school stadiums bigger than that in Texas.
