I've found the old manufactured S&W 1911 style, and also a couple of High Standards that they're making now.. Y'all know of any more for me to goggle?

Just get you a Glock 19 and be done with it.

The s&w was the only one I've ever heard of.

Conan arms makes a .357 magnum 1911 that may shoot .38s

Desert eagles might also shoot .38s

I think Browning made a high power in .38 special back in the early 1900s. I kinda think there was an article about .38 specials in American Rifleman a few months back. I'll take a look and see if I can find the article.
