I know a few transgender people and yes, things that seem very minor to us (personal pronouns) are very major to them, for what should be obvious reasons.

How tall is she? The first picture looked fairly normal, but she looks like a giant compared to her teammates who are probably like 5'9"-ish in the second picture.
